30+ year Loyal UGG customer seeking a return to the quality of the past.
My first purchase of UGG slippers, in 1986, lasted for 11 years - they were a short, boot style with a cuff. I replaced them with a similar style slipper/bootie which lasted about 8 years of similar daily wear around the house.
When that particular style was no longer offered, I switched to the Tasman model. I like the style of the Tasman and have worn these on short trips to the post office or grocery store but predominantly they are worn around the house. The quality of the craftsmanship and durability has diminished over the years. Unfortunately, my last pair of UGG Tasman only lasted 2 years and then began falling apart ... quickly.
I am hopeful that this current purchase will be more durable, however I remain skeptical.
I give these a four out of five-star rating because I am old enough to remember when UGGs were worthy of a 5-star rating.
