I got this drone for my son on his 6th birthday. This was our first drone, so I have nothing to compare it to. It was relatively easy to learn to control. He was super excited to get it. However, I caution you to allow time to learn the controls. I made the mistake of letting my son fly it unsupervised, outside, after a couple of days. He flew it too high and lost it. Possibly hanging up in kudzu somewhere. In case anyone is wondering, you don't get autoreturn on a $30 drone. Great drone for the money though. ***Update*** I emailed company customer support and they will be sending me a replacement drone, free of charge. That speaks to everything you need to know about the seller. Great experience. Earns an extra star from me.
