I have noticed many, many reviews about the frame collapsing or the poles not fitting. I initially had the same problem and it was only after about a month that I noticed that there is in fact in each corner, an opening to a little pocket sewn in along the entire height of the hamper on all four sides. It is REALLY difficult to see so look CAREFULLY. At the very top, lift up the flap that sticks to the velcro piece - the velcro piece sewn onto the sides is black in my hamper. ABOVE this black velcro you will find that there is more fabric that is NOT sewn closed at the very top. Those poles go into that pocket and goes all the way down the side. The pole has a little cap so you need to fiddle with it to make it sit all the way in. Then fold down the flap onto the velcro. No collapsing, all hidden. BEAUTIFUL. Great size - I have two active boys with lots of dirty clothes and they fit. We do laundry weekly. I bought two of them - one for my husband and I and one for the boys. I am very pleased with the product. I did not plan to cart them to the laundry room - just to collect dirty laundry in the bathroom and bedroom. So I am sure the hamper will stay upright forever. Just wish the manufacturers would include clear instructions!!
