Good chair for the price
Read all the reviews before buying this chair, and was still unsure when we bought it. We had looked at these type of chairs at several brick and mortar stores. This chair doesn't have an adjustable headrest, the $500-600 at the stores do, but this one is in a nice position where it is so that wasn't a big deal. The arm rests are a little low, but I'm 5'11, and it's not that big of a deal. It doesn't recline as far as the store ones, but it's far enough to take a nap without your head falling forward. It's not quite as comfy as the $500 store ones, but it's by no means uncomfortable. It's a pretty firm chair. It does have nice lower back support, which was a risk for me without sitting in it before buying cause I have back issues. Assembly is a little confusing, if you're handy, no problem, if you're not, ask a friend who is to help you. I'm handy and did it in under an hour, but I did need my wife to help connect the seat to the back. You have to compress the foam and line up the brackets and insert a bolt at the same time and I needed a third hand. The recline mechanism is very simple, which i think will be fewer things that could break down the road, but its also not as smooth as the higher priced ones. Its not bad though. We wanted a $500 chair from a store but on a budget, and chose to get this one and save $260. It will do just fine. Looks good, sits good, feels solid. Just a few differences in this one and the more expensive ones. If you're a picky person, Buck up and spend the extra money and get one that you like from a brick and mortar store. If good enough will work for your bank account, go ahead and buy this chair.
