This review is based on my first impressions and not long term usage. The first things I noticed is this thing is TINY! I could fit three of these in the palm of my hand. This make you question how powerful it could be, but then my phone is immensely powerful. And my phone costs $1,000.00 As for it's functionality, I had no problem installing the app on my Samsung Tab S3 and connecting via Bluetooth to the scanner. I also update the firmware without issue in the first five minutes of ownership. The data you receive is rather cryptic and requires either a rudimentary knowledge of vehicle subsystems or a liberal use of the internet to figure out what all the data means. However I am sure there are plenty of videos out there on how to use this device. Of which I will indulge this weekend. I hooked it up to my1999 Ford F150 and my 2004 Chevy Express Cargo Cutaway moving truck and it identified it automatically. So now I have plenty of data and no idea what it means, but I suppose that is what learning is for.
