I had a thermostat on my wall. You know, like we all do, and I am not one for bare walls. It was just there, sad. Lonely... plain. It needed some love and pizzaz because, you know. Why the heck not? Only problem was I didn't want to nail a hanger into the wall on top of the poor thermostat, so I looked for putty tabs. They worked great in college, why not now? So, I bought a glamorous (cheap) picture frame off of Amazon, cut the back off because for some reason someone decided to make a cheap frame *really* well (Who are you? I appreciate, love and loathe you all at once), stuck the putty on and... It's been about two months now. That frame hasn't moved, and it isn't actually a light frame either. Kind of heavy for its size actually, but dang my thermostat is pretty! So yes, this putty is perfect and great and if you're in college or live in a rental it's a perfect way to get your things on the wall without dealing with nails and a hammer. Also, my wall isn't perfectly flat. It's got some bumps that I think are supposed to be artistic or something? I'm renting this house so I didn't get to pick. If the putty can keep a picture frame on my wall without the surface being perfectly flat then you know it's the good stuff.
