Yes, this product does an adequate job of providing a buffer layer between my pants and my genitals. The decision to use cotton, instead of other, less comfortable materials, such as sandpaper or sharkskin, has proven to be a good one. Also, the pattern used to make the product does conform to the anatomy of a person with a torso and one or two legs. Anyone with three or more legs would probably be wise to buy something else. All in all, these boxer shorts did, as a matter of fact, turn out to be boxer shorts.
