Before I got this television I spent a lot of time outside. I enjoyed walking, gardening, fishing and I just generally liked being outside. Once I saw the picture on this thing I realized being outside and doing "things" was lame. I have found that the meaning in life resides inside of the tiny LEDs in this television. Now I enjoy spending hours upon hours absorbing whatever this device spews into my living room. I could have spent my time doing futile things like learning to play an instrument, learning a new language or volunteering to help the homeless but I can experience these things vicariously while occasionally enjoying a cathartic "She's dying of cancer" drama. I feel like I am finally living my life (while sitting on my couch)!
