We received it just in time to open a bottle of wine for friends who stopped by unexpectedly. All of us were quite curious if it would really work. I decided to be the one to test it because I have the least manual dexterity of the four of us; thus, adding an extra perceived difficulty to the challenge. Ha! I pumped and pumped about 7 times, was about to give up, and then was absolutely shocked when the cork popped right out of the bottle in pristine shape. Wow. Just WOW!!! Easiest opening of a wine bottle I've ever done -- and I've opened a lot of them over the years. The extremely cool news is that it is just as easy to remove the cork -- far easier than my old Rabbit wine bottle opener and far less expensive, by the way. Just gently push the clear plastic surround down while holding the stem of the bottle opener -- and it pops right off the needle. No muss. No fuss. No broken or damaged cork. All this for an extremely reasonable price.
