Pro: I purchased this pan about 30 years ago. It gets constant use (e.g.: crepes, omelettes, eggs, etc.) and still functions flawlessly, It certainly looks and performs no worse for the wear. I don't use soap on it, just water and a scrubbie, if needed, and dry immediately. It now has a lovely, natural non-stick quality (that won't give you cancer, either). My younger relatives will probably inherit this pan as I imagine it will last another 30 years, too. Definitely a recommended purchase. Con: Yes, it's carbon steel and will rust if not properly cared for, but care for this pan as one should all carbon steel pans, and it will serve you well for many years.
