This Gel Stain is a great product. I have had several professional contractors ask me who updated my cabinets. I just tell them I stained them myself. You should see their eyes. When I tell them that it was under $100 for everything, they almost faint. I recently completed a mostly DIY Kitchen upgrade, shown below (I had the backsplash professionally installed). The total project without appliances was under $2,100. The hardware was $2 for each handle. I also added soft closing hinges for the cabinets ($3.12 each). Contractors have mistaken this for a $10,000 upgrade. I also updated the bathroom cabinets as well shown below. I was able to finish the bathroom (3 coats) and put 2 coats on in the kitchen with one gallon. I used a matte finish polyurethane for the kitchen cabinets and a gloss finish for the bathroom cabinets.
