Solidly built camera with external accessible zoom and focus; Recognized by NAS as ONVIF
Solid aluminum housing with good fit and finish. The focus and zoom adjustments are accessible from the bottom using an allen wrench, so you do not have to open the housing. Pulled an Ethernet cable to the camera, plugged the cable into the camera and the other end into a spare port on my PoE switch. Configuration and viewing can be accessed three ways, 1) log in directly using the camera's IP address, 2) directly through the NVR using an HDMI cable or 3) logging into the NVR using the NVR IP address. The motion detection can be finely tuned with a grid and setting the sensitivity level. I tested the camera to see if it would be recognized by my QNAP NAS, and even though the brand was not on the list of supported brands by the Surveillance software, it did connect as an ONVIF camera and recognizes the motion detection. Hopefully the GW Security brand will be listed as "supported" by more NVR and NAS vendors in the future. Picture of the mounted camera and example image capture attached.
