I have been looking for something to store my vinyl records to that I could flip through them like they were in a record bin, but would fit inside my cabinet (an old mid century modern buffet that I removed the pull-out trays). I had been storing the records horizontally in the cabinet, but it was difficult to flip through them. So, once I found these, I got an idea to mount them on drawer slides so they could pull out of the cabinet. The only minor downside is I fit a bit fewer albums per side of the cabinet, because the overall width of each side is longer than the usable length of these holders. No big deal, though. It's now so much easier to flip though my stacks of records! Overall I got 4 of these, two mounted on slides in each side of the cabinet. I mounted them to some shelving I picked up at Home Depot, then screwed the shelving to the bottom of the cabinet. This was necessary so that the slides would clear the sliding door channels which stuck up just a bit.
