This journal arrived yesterday packaged so nicely in a bag with a note from the seller. I love the way the leather smells as soon as you open it. The design on it is just beautiful. I love ancestry so the Tree of Life just reminds me of it. The paper is nice and thick so I didn't have to worry about ink bleeding through and it has lines and a place for the date. I love both of those factors. Unlined journals do not work for me at all. If there was any negative it would be that the paper that is holding the journal pages in the cover is not as sturdy as the pages themselves. It has already started tearing just a smidge. This is not enough of a big deal to me so I still consider this a 5-star item.
