I had horrible sciatic nerve pain from driving in my bucket-seat Ford. Any trip over an hour was sure to inflame it. I got this for a 22 hour road trip and feel it really helped prevent pain my whole trip. It helped me sit up straight and had a cut out for where my spine ends. As an added bonus I am a short woman and can see the road/car hood better now. My 6’ husband bumps his head on the car roof if he sits on this seat, so beware if you are tall. I’m thinking of getting a second seat for my uncomfortable office chair so like it so much.
