I was skeptical about buying this, but thought I would give it a try. I am single and my home is 1500 sq ft, so I don't see a need to turn the A/C to a comfortable level, to cool the whole house. So I keep my A/C relatively high (82) and I set this device about 3-4 feet away from me on desk, bedside or on the table by chair and it works to keep me cool. I use cold water from my ice dispenser and it really feels comfortable! It's lightweight, so it's easy to move from location to location. HOT FLASH HEAVEN: Ladies, if you are suffering hot flashes like I am, this is a life saver! I fill it with chilled water from my fridge dispenser and when that hot flash strikes, I push the button and it's like instant relief!
