YOU DON'T GET BETTER THEN THIS FOR THE MONEY!! ALSO THE BEST RATED!! THE SENSOR WORKS PERFECTLY YOU JUST DON'T GET IT!!
OKAY I WANT TO CLEAR UP THE SENSOR THAT EVERYONE'S COMPLAINING ABOUT FIRST!!
After talking to the company because everyone was complaining about the automatic sensor ( that all it does is turn the fan up or down people) It's still cleaning your room if the sensor doesn't work by the way It's just keeping it at a lower fan speed.. You can always turn the fan up manually using the remote or your finger on the unit.. YOU GUYS KNOW THAT KEEPING THIS UNIT ON HIGH 24 HOURS A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK WILL ONLY BURN ABOUT $3 A MONTH IN ELECTRICITY!!!
Okay so they told me HOW TO TEST A SENSOR. Either blow cigarette smoke or light a candle and blow it out ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE UNIT INTAKE!!!
So if you look at my video you will see me doing this on the left side because the sensor is actually on the left side ( because in the manual that's where it is) .. and you could see it did not work and a lot of people tried doing this on the left side for some reason.. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE INTAKE IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE LIKE IT SUCKS THE AIR AND MORE ON THE RIGHT SIDE..
So when you see me do this on the right side you could see the sensor works perfectly..
I saw a few people saying the sensors garbage blah blah blah putting smoke on the left hand side.. try the right hand side.
THEN I ALSO SAW PEOPLE TURNING THE UNIT ON AND OFF SAYING THAT THE LIGHT WOULD SAY THAT THE AIR IS BAD AND THEN IT WOULD SAY THE AIR WAS GOOD WITHIN THE SAME EXACT TIME LIKE WITHIN 4 MINUTES OR SOMETHING. THIS IS JUST THE INITIATION STARTUP OF THE MACHINE.. THIS IS NORMAL PEOPLE... THEY'RE NOT TELLING YOU THEY JUST CLEANED THE WHOLE ROOM EVERY TIME IT TURNS ON IN THAT SHORT PERIOD OF TIME... THAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME... SO STOP JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT....
TRY READING THE MANUAL!!!
After the initiation which happens every single time when you turn it on which takes about 3 or 4 minutes. It will then go to the clean state usually unless the room is really dirty.. and then you're all set until some real bad air quality comes into the room..
JUST REMEMBER NOT TO BLOCK THE SIDES OF THE UNIT ESPECIALLY THE RIGHT SIDE..
Okay so now that that's out of the way.. what I really love about this unit is they really took the time and effort to make it small but also cover lots of square footage.. It does 700 square feet in 1 hour. 350 square feet 2 times in an hour. ( This is with 8-ft ceilings ) this is what the company told me. For the price of under $200 I think it was $164. For all the features in such a small unit that's amazing.
Also one thing that is a negative is how much the filters cost at $34.99 but you get what you pay for ( It's also a 4-in-1 filter) Their carbon filters are better made than most inside the filter.. their filters are also higher quality if you want my opinion. You can also subscribe and get their filters for $30 every 4 months.. but most people probably won't need them every 4 months. me I only need them every 6 or 7.. there's also third party that makes them but isn't the point of getting the best quality filters for the best quality air? Not all filter makers make them equally..
Another thing I love is the customer service what good is having a product if the customer service stinks.. their customer service is amazing if you just call them on Facebook Messenger or just call them on the phone.. If you bother to call them instead of complaining or contact them on Facebook Messenger they will answer all of your questions.. LIKE THEY DID FOR ME SO I COULD TEST THE UNIT THE RIGHT WAY INSTEAD OF MAKING UNFOUNDED STATEMENTS..
( Oh yeah and there was some other dude comparing it to the Bissell 400 model opening his door and saying the sensor wasn't working but the Bissell was. AND YOU NOTICED THAT HE WAS COVERING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE INTAKE OF THE ( HATHASPACE HSP001 ) WITH THE BISSELL AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT 🤣 )
I guess you can also take the filters out vacuum them gently lay them out in the sun for a couple of hours to extend the life ( something they won't tell you ) always best to replace them though especially when it comes to orders.
Also they paid attention to the cover... It comes on and off with magnets so you know it's not going to break over time..
Also like the look of it very classy and elegant..
WHAT ABOUT THE IONIZER!!! WHAT ABOUT THE OZONE!!
Well here's what they told me. First off it's not a UV light that everyone keeps thinking. AND YOU CAN TURN IT OFF IF YOU WANT. It's an IONIZER.. and it's well below the regulations for ozone.. not enough of it goes in the air to hurt you not even close. Here is what their response was.
FROM THE COMPANY....... ( Our HSP001 purifier doesn't have a UV light and the ionizer produces .009 ppm of ozone, less than 1/5 of the strictest U.S. requirements (.050 ppm) which means that it's safe to use even if you have pets around. The ANION function (ionizer) electrically charged particulate matter, neutralizing them. This makes it easier to trap and remove them from the air.
Turning on the ionizer makes it easier to eliminate smoke odors but even without the ionizer, the effectiveness of this purifier is the same.)
WELL ANYWAYS I HOPE I CLEARED SOME THINGS UP.. I LOVE THE UNIT IT'S PROBABLY THE BEST OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY AS FOR CLEANING THE AIR NOTHING IS BETTER.. THEY MAKE THE BEST FILTERS, BEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! As for the sensor it works.. It may not work perfectly but you can always turn the fan on and off manually. And that's all the sensor does is just turns the fan up and down.. PEOPLE IT'S NOT LIKE THE UNIT SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY AND THEN WHEN IT DETECTS SMOKE OR BAD AIR QUALITY THE FAN TURNS ON. THE FAN IS ALWAYS ON PEOPLE IT JUST TURNS THE FAN ON HIGHER IF IT DETECTS BAD AIR 😂
Experts recommend not using automatic sensors anyways.. they recommend leaving it on its highest or medium setting 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But what they say is leave it on the highest setting initially for like 24 hours to get all of the air clean. And then drop it down to medium or low to maintain the area.. The sensors in these units really not that good according to the experts.. really good sensors cost around $200 or $300 alone!!
People overrate the importance of this sensor.. again it only costs $3 a month to run this thing on high when it was tested 24 hours a day 7 days a week..
Rant over!!
