Dog approved. Low quality. Good Price.
Bought a couple of these for trial and error. Wanted to take my 65lb Lab and 12lb Maltese tubing in the Delaware gap. First test was in the pool to see our lab would stay in the boat. Success! Second test, me and the Lab in the boat. Success! Next we took them out on the Delaware gap. 1 of the 3 boats got punctured in the shuttle on the way to the river. Note, the patch kit did not work. Although,we did try and patch while still inflated. 2nd tube with 1 adult and Maltese was successful, but very difficult sitting to get the oars in the water to paddle. 3rd boat with 1 adult and lab was lined with fleece blanket. Partial success. Every slight movement caused lab to become off balance. Holding harness in one hand to steady dog and get pulled by another tube we were able to float down the gap.
Tips:
-Car adapter for electric pump takes on average 10 minutes to blow up completely.
-Bring hand pump for when they pop on the water.
-Boats should be deflated before patches and bring extra patch kits because they pop easily.
-Always have dogs where life vests if taken on any body of water.
-Rope boats together to help control paddles.
-Order extra boat in case you pop one.
-If you didn't order extra boat, keep alcohol on standby in case you have to carry your deflated boat the entire trip.
