Great idea in theory - but if you feed pellets instead of crumbles it doesn't dispense. There is not enough clearance at the bottom for the pellets to fit through. If they had raised the inside portion just a bit would have been great. My hens seemed to go for it readily but then feeder didn't "refill". Also it would have been great if the screws used were trimmed on the inside - they are very sharp and would have been a nice touch to have those cut short. edit - Feb 9, 2016 - Thank you for listening to my suggestions! Very helpful the new height for feeding pellets and even crumbles. Also when I clean the inside the sharp wood screws have been replaced by a different style screw. I appreciate that you care enough about your product to listen to customer input. And as you can see by the photos - it was quite nice of the girls to match up with the hens on your logo
