I have used pellet grills for many years, and of course, Traeger was one of the first to come out. I have gone through 3 Traegers over the years, literally wore them out and really had no complaint other than sometimes not a lot of smoke, and sometimes no smoke. The customer service people seemed to be annoyed when you asked for help, P - Settings, etc. My last Treager, #4, was/is a lemon. It happens to all manufacturers, not complaining, just my luck. Major problems with the igniter and control board, but my hardware store is always accommodating; however, after the 4th time in I started researching. I settled on this grill because of the reviews and the convenience of dumping the ashes and being able to easily change the pellets. I ordered it here from Amazon and it came in as advertised. This is not a toy. It is well made and HEAVY. Most importantly, IT SMOKES. Right from the start it smoked like a chief and still does. The thermostat is really easy to use and it cleans like a dream. I have tried many different types of pellets. All of them work -- from Traeger and Wal Mart to Tractor Supply. After many years I can honestly say that this is the best pellet grill that I have owned and the price is right. Top quality and most importantly it works.
