This stuff works great. Just remember, that like the instructions say, whichever side of the window has the most lighting is the side that will see in. You'll still need to close your blinds at night. Clean your windows really good, and buy the installation kit and the nice squeegee - the one that comes with the regular kit is crappy and you'll end up scratching the film. Be careful when you're peeling the backing off as well as if you get a kink in it, it'll damage the finish as well. From the outside, it really just looks like a very reflective window at first glance. On the inside, any sunlight coming in basically has no more heat to it. No more sitting around in the dark during the summer when you've got the AC on, or worrying about electronics overheating in the sunlight.
