These little cubes work great and don't cause a bunch of ash like when using crumpled up newspaper. I'd recommend not opening up these in the house. The was is easily crumbled and there are loose bits that will spill all over when you initially handle them. Words of wisdom: do NOT purchase these for $9. These are sold all day for $3.99 at any box store. You cannot return these and get a message saying that Amazon is unable to handle and ship these. Good thing I'm rich. Jk.
