Pretty good suction. Very noisy. Nice washable filter. Battery life will usually last for a whole car cleaning or corners of the floor dust-up. Not the best solution for general vacuuming, though. Not designed to be thorough. Unfortunately (or perhaps, fortunately), we are 22 months into our 2 year warranty and the BDH2000L will no longer start. When we set it on the charger, the blue light illuminates as if the battery was fully charged, but there is no response whatsoever upon hitting the power switch. I called Customer Service at 3:40pm (PST) and waited on hold for 10 minutes before being disconnected. When I called back at 3:50pm, there was a prerecorded message telling me to call back during business hours!
