Purposely, I did not vacuum from the time I ordered the Coredy Robot Vacuum until it arrived. I ran the vacuum and was fairly well impressed. I love that it gets under furniture, and goes from carpet to hardwood without issues. It is also very good at sensing the drop-off of the stairs. I don't have a good open area with an electrical outlet for charging. The robot does a good job cleaning, but does not find its way back to the charger...it is funny, running around trying to find its home. This is not an issue for me, and I know the reason, so I am not taking points away from the vacuum for that. The directions were specific on the room needed for the charger base. I could not find a good choice, and worked with what I have. It does a great job picking up hair (I have a lot of hair, and shed a lot), but cannot speak to pet hair. It doesn't pick up larger items, but keeps the dust and grime off the floors. I find that it has pushed coins, that have evidently found their way under the bed, to the middle of the floors....I am now 32 cents richer.
