We bought a new Sony smart TV. But we still have a lot of old VHS tapes to play on our old VCR. The new TV did not have the red-white-yellow input. My brother said I needed a converter so I ordered this one. But I couldn't get it to work. It was not the converter's fault. It was my almost 80 year old brain that was the problem. After I figured out you have to hook up BOTH of the cables that came - HDMI and USB, my tapes can be played. Yippeee! ABLEWE's tech support offered me help but I watched enough YouTube videos to figure it out. I am happy with the service and the product.
