I read the reviews for this when I was researching on how to paint my own kitchen cabinets. I read that this specific sprayer is the best bang for buck and let me tell you, YES IT IS!!! It (in my opinion) turned out so dang good, I got many compliments on how it turned out. I would recommend doing your very first few passes on a piece of cardboard to get the hang of it but this thing saved me hours!!!!! I needed/wanted about 4 coats for durability and good coverage. Paint thinner is a must!!!!! sometimes if the sprayer gets clogged it will spurt out drops on your pained item - again paint thinner is your friend and then just wiping the spout every so often does wonders. I bought the paint filters but probably didn't really need them...okay I didn't use them so you probably don't need that unless you're working with old chunky paint. I highly recommend buying a second paint reservoir. I always have one with paint and the other filled with water and paint thinner to clean immediately after. I think you should clean if it will be more than 30 minutes that you're not using the sprayer. Anyways if you've read this far do yourself a favor and get this sprayer!!!! You will want to paint everything because it is so amazing!!!!!
