On my wife's Christmas list was, indoor/outdoor slippers. She had shown me a few styles she liked. Unfortunately, she is a size 10; and finding a decent selection in that size is a nightmare. I settled on a pair that was "okay". Now it's Valentines' Day and and I thought I'd try again. When I saw the KOZiKICKS, they were exactly what she wanted because they were an indoor/outdoor shoe; or so I thought, judging by the product picture. When the parcel arrived, I was immediately mad!! They were packed in a plastic mailing bag just over an inch thick...what the hell?!! Definitely NOT shoes! They were more like a glove. I hid them in a drawer as valetines day was still 2 weeks away. The next day I thought, "I'm going to end up returning them anyway, so I might as well show them to her on the chance she might keep them". I had other gifts for her and these were just an add-on, so no big deal. It's important to the context of this review that you know one of the things I love about my wife of 18 yrs., is that she has the most even temperament of any woman i've known; never overly excited or angry. Always calm and collected. Not that cost is always an indication of value, but as a rule, nice things cost money and over the years I have given her some pretty nice things. She always thanks me with a warm kiss and a, thank you....period. However, when she put on these slippers, she went absolutely NUTS! I sat there dumbfounded. I've been waiting 18 yrs. for a reaction like that...over a pair of slippers?! I tried to make her give them back and wait the 2 weeks to valentines day.....wrong move! Her two daughters have birthdays next month. She immediately ordered 2 pair of these slippers for them. I can't tell you everything she loved about the slippers, all I heard was, OH MY GAWD a whole bunch of times.
