Pros: Heats up water fast. Looks nice on the counter. Holds enough water for four David's Tea mugs. Pours well. The kettle part comes away from the base, so you can carry it to another room without cord problems. Interior surfaces are all stainless steel. Cons: The kettle part gets hot; be careful with the lid right after use or you'll get a handful of steam. Has a 'warm plastic' smell at first but it's going away as we use it. Other: We took a chance on an item without many ratings, and it paid off this time.
