I was honestly afraid to try this based on the bad reviews but I'm glad I did. It arrived exactly as picked in the middle of a florida heatwave. It was not melted. The tears are varied sizes, it is natural and unprocessed so I really don't know what some reviewers are expecting. It doesn't stick to my teeth at all. It has an interesting flavor, like if you chewed on resin incense. I like it. I purchased it for some dental problems, specifically a broken wisdom tooth. I chewed until soft and pliable and stuck it in the hole in my tooth. The pain from the exposed nerve was immediately gone. I will live until my extraction appointment. This stuff is a life saver.
