It will also help you advocate for yourself and educate you on various subjects you otherwise would believe you have to rely on others to know for you. Almost everything you can think of is covered in this book, in a very easy to read and understand way. From conceiving to postpartum care, it is literally an A-Z guide to natural childbirth that can be comprehended by any mother or birthing couple. This book for me will be staying on my shelves. This book is not a one and done type of book but a resource that will hold it's value through the years to come and even to be passed down. I think it is a wonderful gift that this midwife gave to mother's by sharing her experience and knowledge in midwifery with the rest of us, especially those of us new to the natural process of birth.
