Over the past six months I started back in online school and got my study all set up including a new office chair. But recently I've had an issue with the armrests not being padded enough for how much pressure my elbows would put on them throughout the day, causing sometimes serious arm and elbow pain after a full day of school reading and work. I also had non traditional armrests that aren't independent, but rather connected to the chair on the back end so some versions of elastic arm rest covers that slip over the top of the armrests wouldn't work for me. I eventually landed on this item and seemed to be of great quality and the exact set up I needed. After using them for a little over a week I'm absolutely overjoyed and in love with them. There is very thick padding which has corrected my elbow pain and the best part is it's not like memory foam where it leaves a lasting imprint on the padding. Hopefully long term the pads keep their shape and don't get dented from my elbow impressions and based on how they've been over the past week I highly doubt that'll be an issue. The velcro to attach is also very sturdy and let's me get it snug so my armrests don't move around at all on top of my chair's armrests. Highly recommend!!
