Serious Abuse
I have owned this bag for almost a year now. I have taken it on countless trips (countless equals 10 to 20) including Sedona, the Grand Canyon, the Superstition Wilderness, and Coon Creek. I have used it in temperatures ranging from 28 to 70 degrees F. I have kicked it, squished it, sat on it, soaked it, and covered it in campfire sparks and so far it shows no sign of wear.
It is a very light, small bag; though not as small as the picture makes it seem (look at the customer pictures to get a better idea). It takes some effort to get it into the stuff sack - usually takes about five minutes. It is very light; I think the Amazon description is right about the weight.
This bag did not keep me comfortable below 40 degrees F, though at 40 and above it was quite nice. I ended up getting a silk liner for it, and that made it tolerable down to 28, though it was still a little chilly. The zipper, collar, and hood configuration are convenient and comfortable, but the zipper does stick sometimes. One of the best features about this bag is its ability to dry. My camelback bladder emptied into my pack once at the beginning of the day and completely soaked everything inside. When I took out my bag at night, I was devastated because it was 35 degrees and the wind was howling like mad. I turned it inside out and hung it on a tree and it was dry in less than five minutes! It was awesome.
In summary, this bag is a little bigger than the Amazon description, the zipper sticks sometimes, and by itself it's only good down to 40 degrees; however, it is very durable, comfortable, lightweight, and super cheap. Definitely recommended.
