I bought this heated outdoor cat house for a feral family of three cats that live in my back yard. Even though I live in Florida, the temps here have gone down in the 20's for the last couple of nights and it's only November so I wanted to make sure they had a warm place to sleep/hang out in for the winter. Even though the cats have not gone in it yet (I put it outside today) it shouldn't take too long as one of the cats (Baby Gray) is already curious about it. I am impressed by the sturdiness of the cat house, it is large enough for all three cats (they are on the smaller side) and it was very easy to set up and when I tested it, it worked perfectly. It also appears that the fabric that was used on it is waterproof but I am going to spray it with a waterproofing spray to make sure it is. On several reviews people mentioned that they wished there we some kind of covers on the two doors. Mine came with clear, thick plastic, removable doors that are perfect for it. The ones without the doors must be older versions. I will come back and update my review when they, hopefully, start using it. And as always - Amazon Prime Shipping rocks!
