I got this in preparation for allergy season because my barely 3yr old son is constantly sneezing and stuffy when Spring hits. When it first came from Amazon, my 5yr old daughter was amused by the lights and music and wanted to use it for fun. I think it plays wheels on the bus. Both lights and music are optional. There are 3 suction settings: low, medium and high (1,2,3). She thought it was fun and asks me to use it occasionally even though she knows how to correctly blow her own nose. So, last few days—my kids both have had colds. My son was so congested he was struggling to breathe at all through his nose while he was sleeping. I got this out and quickly zipped it up each nostril while on the lowest setting with no lights or sound. He barely noticed me doing it and didn’t even fully wake up. The only thing that roused him from his sleep was the sensation of tons of mucus coming out. I couldn’t believe it. It was so easy and fast and the tip barely went up his nose so it doesn’t trigger more sneezing like those squeezy bulb aspirators. There are 3 tip options. I used the smallest, rounded one and it worked perfectly fine. The reservoir is clear so you can see what you’ve collected. It was gross but totally worth it. You pop the top off and rinse it down the sink and don’t have to touch anything. Nothing gross ever comes in contact with the machine part of this. There are 3 little clear pieces that click together and they’re super easy to clean and sanitize. Charges easily and quickly with included USB cable and all stows away together in a convenient case. Wish I had this when my 5yr old was a baby. Buy it. Seriously. Don’t wait til you have a cold. Have it ready so it’s there on nights like tonight. I would seriously even consider using this on my own nose if I ever needed it.
