Simple elegance! Ceramic pots are deep and the stand is balanced and sturdy. Contrary to the description, the color is NOT green. The color variance simply demarcates the glazed and non-glazed areas of the pot. I purchased two "large" planters and love the finished touch it adds to my Fig Fiddle Leaf Tree and my Zanzibar Gem (ZZ) plant. The planters arrived WELL protected. The shipping boxes are thick and sturdy and the actual planters are securely encased in thick styrofoam molds. I am not concerned that the planters do not have drainage holes because I use the planters for decoration and place my already potted plants into the planter. Be warned that the large planter pot's opening is 10 inch diameter and is 12 inches deep. So if your plant's diameter is larger then you may want to size up. I also cut away the circular styrofoam molded packing material, placed the intact disc at the bottom of the planter and used it elevate my tall but smaller Zanzibar Gem plants to the appropriate height for a better display. Recycle and re-purpose some of that packing material. Make it work for you! I really like these planters and may purchase again!! The "large" pot's dimensions are: pot opening - 10 inch diameter pot height - 12 inches Total height (pot + stand) = 17 inches *If you measure the planter's diameter edge to edge and not just the opening then you will get a 12 inch diameter measurement. This accounts for the thickness of the pot and the lip.
