Worked great! only one flaw
I live in a rural area and the only options I have is satellite or over the air TV. When I moved in my house it had already had a satellite dish on the roof with coax leading up to it. I climbed on the roof and took the dish down and put this up, the coax from the roof to a splitter is about 50., I then hooked up an additional 100' of coax from the splitter to power unit and I was happy to see I could still power it up and rotate the antenna. So I can confirm that you can power up the antenna with 150' of coax.
After running the new coax to my basement TV I was excited to see my TV went from finding 0 channels to over 50! I bought a DVR system for recording TV now I can watch all my favorite network TV shows for free.
The only COMPLAINT I have is the 30' of coax it came with, it's cheep and for some reason would not work on the power unit, it just slides right over female end and won't tighten, but I will say it works with other female coax ends like my TV and wall jack. Other coax male ends will fit on the female coax end of the unit. It's really weird that the coax you get supplied with doesn't fit the unit it's suppose to go on, but again the coax ends looks very cheap they are low profile, I wouldn't bother with using what it came with I would focus on getting your own if you need to hook it up.
