This is the perfect cover for me because it is so versatile. The top is like a smart cover but because of the hardshell case it's even better than a smart cover. So you can use it in landscape mode to put it on a table or it can assist you in holding it with one hand in portrait mode. In my opinion, this rivals many cases costing much more. It's really a quality fit and finish and still makes the iPad air look nice and slim. The video demonstrates both views in Landscape mode and being able to type on it even in upright landscape mode.
