For the money, you'd be hard set to find a better pool/filter combo. Its a perfect pool for young children, and once it's used and abused after summer, just toss it away. For the love of God! Do yourself a favor and make sure to 100% level this pool. The slightest degree of unbalance, will cause the pool to lean substantially. Don't eyeball it! Pull out your level and make sure every inch of this 8ft diameter pool is level. Did I mention to make sure this pool is 100% level!? This isn't an inflatable pool, only the top ring of the pool is inflatable. The water filling the pool is what will be supporting the walls. If the pool isn't level, the water will not fill uniformly or level and thus the walls will lean and will not handle the weight of the water. Level the pool before filling!!! Regarding the inflatable top ring of the pool. Mine doesn't seem to inflate all the way nor does it seem to stay fully inflated. I end up inflating it using an electric pump before each use. Not too big of a deal; perhaps I'm just OCD Pump setup is a breeze, but please read and follow the instruction manual rather than just watching the provided instructional DVD. The electrical cord on the pump is super long, at least 20ft, which is wonderful btw. The pool has a water release port for draining. If you take the time before filling the pool up, you can easily attach a water shutoff valve and hose to the port for safe and easy drainage. Last but not least, skip all the chlorine kit BS they try to sell you. Simply get a bucket of Clorox and some cheapo chlorine and PH test strips from a hardware store or restaurant supply store and bada bing, your a pool chemical engineer! Sorry for rambling, but I hope this helps you. I gave this product a 3 star rating cause I'm a Jerk, but it really is a good pool for the money.
