OK everyone, let's start out with a reality check. Excluding shipping, these planes come in at a price of about 20-25 cents each. The bottom line is, you get what you pay for. If you want a great hobby-type plane for your kids, etc., then be prepared to shell out 4-7 dollars each. That being said, I purchased these for my Cub Scout Den. We were working on flying, aerodynamics, and the four forces involved in flying (thrust/drag, lift/gravity). After the "lesson", I passed out the airplanes to the Scouts, had them assemble the planes, then had a contest to see who could fly furthest. The Scouts LOVED the activity, they actually learned something, and it cost me less than $8.00 (I bought 24 planes) in total. If you want to be critical of these 25 cent planes, then I'm guessing nothing will make you happy.
