If you are looking for a good quality tool, this is it! I was hesitant about this product after reading all the comments, but don't let them discourage you, it is an excellent tool for nail trimming. You have to be cautious about 2 things: 1. Please do follow the manufacturer instructions to desensitize your dog. I followed them and it was worth it. I spent 1 week just playing with their paws (I own a pug and a retriever mix) and once they got used to that feeling, I started playing with the tool (turned off), eventualy I let them play with it, sniffed it and get used to the sound. Now if I start trimming they are actually really relaxed. 2. Be aware of the dust. Cover their eyes. I did not follow this rule the first time and my pug got eyes irritation and then it became an infection (nothing serious). So, just make sure their eyes are not exposed to the dust.
