I waited 6 months before posting this review to give you a truly accurate idea of performance. This bad boy is totally awesome!!!! Between me and my cat, I don't know who suffers from worse allergies and needed to find some relief. After doing a ton of research, I settled on the BreatheSmart (but we just call it Allen) and it's made a night and day difference in our air quality. The air is clean and free of particulate and so pleasant that when you throw in a little Netflix and Chill, I never want to go anywhere any more; it's so nice at home! Sound-gives a pleasant white noise hum that I find neither too loud or soft. Price - worth every dang penny Performance - Cleans my 1200 sq ft apartment (no walls, just one big loft) with no problem Size - It's no small thing but even at its size, the design of the unit makes it easy to tuck against a wall and it doesn't feel obtrusive. Filters - not cheap but if your buying a purifier of this scale then you understand its need for a high performance filter. I have mine for 6 months and am just now able to discern a difference in air quality and ready to buy the new filter. Pictures attached - I put my office chair next to it to give you a sense of scale. Note the purifier is not under anything nor does it have anything around it to obstruct the intake/outflow of air. This is an important element of overall performance and should be considered before making your purchase. *NOTE-I apologize the pictures are sideways. They are not this way on my computer so I find it strange Amazon is incorrectly reorienting them. Final Thoughts - It doesn't get any better than this for me. I absolutely and very highly recommend this product. You'll love it!!!
