I have been using DHEA since my pregnancy which was 2 years ago. I stayed on it after reading what it can do for you after the baby is born and what it can do for you after 40 (since I'm turning 39). Here are a few things that DHEA can do for you and how the Zhou product measures up. Also, I'd like to touch on a key point with any supplement and I put this in all my reviews. When you choose a supplement do a quick test of it against another brand. For example, my go to brands for years were Now and Nature's Bounty. The first thing I did with the Zhou DHEA was to test the release time. You do this by putting a capsule into a glass of room temperature water. Track how long it takes for it to open and begin to release then how long it takes for it to totally dissolve. Compare that to the time it takes of the other brand you are using. Not only does this let you know if the capsule will be released quicker and how long it will take, it also let's you know which brands may not be releasing or dissolving in your system like they should be. That being said, here is how Zhou measured up. For women, the DHEA supplement helps with estrogen levels and adrenal balance. This is key if you have minor depression or issues with mood swings, fatigue, and other related issues. It isn't a miracle supplement though. If you do have severe depression or ongoing issues, see a professional. When I switched to Zhou, as with any switch in brands, I always look for how it makes me feel, if I notice anything different, etc. I did notice something different with Zhou's DHEA. I felt BETTER. The DHEA always helps, but in this case I did notice an increase in energy and the anxiety/depression was calmed for longer it seemed than with other supplements. This could be do to the fact that Zhou supplements dissolve quickly and completely, so more of the supplement is being released. I highly recommend this brand and have not had an issue with any of their supplements.
