may not hold a heavy microphone with the boom fully extended (weights, a bag, or anything really could fix this)
I think this is the best budget mic stand there is, simple as that. Has some bells and whistles too; one of these is a clip to keep the xlr cable fastened to the stand. I have had no problems with these stands at all! Get these!
