best vacuum hands down
I've owned a lot of vacuums. I got my first one when I was 16 (20 years ago) and since then I've probably gotten a new one every 6 to 12 months. My husband thought I was kidding when I told him I go through vacuums quicker then a pair of jeans. I've owned all the top brands rainbow, kirby, hoover, dyson, fantoms, kenmore, Bissell. If they made a vacuum I owned it. I have never heard of a Miele until I was looming at roombas. I saw a review saying they liked their roomba but would rather have a miele. the one thing I did not like about some of the other vacuums where they were Bagless I've noticed through owning several types that a bagged vacuum keeps suction way better especially if you have pets and carpet. When reading reviews people either had pets and no carpet or carpet and no pets. I have carpet and 4 dogs (lab, shepherd, 2 chihuahuas) and severe allergies. a Dyson is great on hardwood floor and tile however on carpet not so much my Kenmore was amazing but it was very heavy and bulky and hard to get in those corners. I needed a vacuum that was great for pets and because I like to vacuum my kitchen I needed something that was not going to scrape my cabinets with some vacuums they are too high and you can't get under your cabinets so therefore you're scratching your vacuum and your cabinet. with this vacuum I can virtually clean my entire house and 30 minutes which normally would take me about an hour it is light very easy to maneuver and the suction is amazing. It is very quiet and doesn't even scare my pets. I usually don't do reviews but when I'm looking for vacuums the one thing I like to see is an individual that has pets and carpet because they understand what it takes to have a clean house. I also have arthritis in both of my hands so the nice Comfort grip on the Miele is perfect I've had a Bissell that the handle is very hard plastic and after about 10 minutes my hands would ache. this vacuum is a little pricey but if you're like me and you add up how much you spent on vacuums over the years this one will probably be the last vacuum you'll ever have to buy which in the end definitely makes it worth the price. I usually do not buy canister vacuums because I hate having to drag it around behind me but because its so light the canister doesn't even bother me.
