Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Hi, so I never write these things but I told my self I would after I got this furniture put together because I felt the reviews were a little skewed. One way or the other. I will start at the beginning. I am a 27 year old female and had never done this before so I got some help. The dresser and matching nightstands were ordered with some hesitation after reading the reviews. I was not going to pay for shipping and went the Super Saver route. I ordered them the 1st and I am pretty sure I got them around the 9th (earlier than the intended date) and the boxes VERY heavy but intact and no damage to the packaging. When I had my guy friend come to put them together, none of the pieces were scratched (maybe one or two had a very tiny ding but the marker fixed that) and no missing pieces (plenty of the extra little things like screws and bolts). Nothing to complain about at all. It took longer than anticipated even with a few breaks. All three pieces took about 10 hours or so. Mind you he is about average with this kind of thing but knows how to use a screwdriver. So, the reason I did not give this a five is not the complexity of the frame but the drawers and sliders. If you do decide to get this and are frustrated with the drawers not closing right the sliders are probably placed on backwards, upside down, or on the wrong side. Once I fig this out (even after I had given up on one) it fixed all of them. Also, there was a random piece of wood on all three that we ended up not using, I am sure that is why there is a gap at the top but when we tried to figure out where it went the drawer could not close all the way. I barely notice it but it always throws you off when something is left over. Overall, I am happy. They look nice fro what I paid. When you think about cost it was not that bad. They seem sturdy and do not fall apart if you move them. Just make sure you follow the directions. I am going to try to upload pics as well. Happy building!
