I am a short statured plus size girl. I don't look like one of those smooth "curvy" plus size girls shown in magazines. I am roli poli and have a major pooch. So I tend to like things slightly loose (too big and its a tent) and longer. I ordered this in a size 2x which is what I normally wear and it was too fitted. Now I understand this is a bathing suit and not a tshirt, but it was also too short and kept rolling up over my gut. I already ordered a size 3x and its a pretty decent fit. It's definitely longer, perhaps by a good 1.5 -2 inches which is excellent. But there is only the slightest difference in looseness in the 3x compared to the 2x but it makes a world of difference. Also, this shirt is fairly thin so be prepared to wear a fitted tankini underneath unless you really want to show off all your jiggly bits. I would most likely buy another one just because the cut and colors are more feminine compared to trying to buy smaller mens sizes. Just buy up a size and you should be good.
