OMG. My mom is hard of hearing and has been wearing $3700 hearing aides which she hates - the sound is scratchy and they don't seem to help her at all; we still have to shout to be heard, and repeat ourselves often. My sister and I recently bought her some wireless headphones for watching TV, and she was amazed at how clearly she could hear with them, so I went on line to look for something she could wear around the house. I found these and read the reviews, and decided to try them. (I also bought the Olympus ME-52W noise cancelling microphone recommended by other users; I tried both microphones with the unit myself, and the Olympus microphone does give better sound)). My mom is amazed at how well she can hear conversations and how clear they are. I'm happy that I no longer have to shout to be heard. My mom said I should write a rave review and so here it is.
