This litter box is my new best friend! It's amazing and I'm happy I purchased this style. Especially after weeks of trying to decide what would be best for my cat Luna. When I first received it I thought to myself wow this box might be to big but soon came to love the bigger size. It's super easy to put together all you do is snap on the lid and your done. I read some of the reviews that said there cats wouldn't use it. I didn't have that problem with my cat. You see she's a pee standing up kinda girl, so you can imagine my dilemma with that. She would pee on the walls, rugs and my floor every time she used her old open style litter box. When I received the new Iris Top Entry litter box, I set it up right next to her area so she could investigate it for herself. Afterwards I placed her inside without litter so she could see what it was like. After she was done investigating I filled it with litter picked her up again and placed her back inside. She did her scratch litter everywhere dance and used it right away! I gave her lots of praise and a few treats for a job well done. Just to be on the safe side I placed it right next to her old box for one night. The next day I removed her cheap box and replaced it with her big fabulous new litter box. She's had no issue getting in or out of the top entry. It's super easy to clean, there's less litter on my floor due to the design of the top lid which allow the litter to fall back inside. The inside is coated so nothing sticks to it and that makes for easy cleaning. If you have a cat I recommend you try the Catit Top Entry Litter Box you won't be disappointed.
