This tub can be run at outside temp below 40° if you put it up like I did and also make sure when ur not ...
This spa can be used outside in Temps lower than 40. I just put my spa up (it was 20°)a little over 24 hours ago and is almost ready to get in. I did however run into trouble blowing up the spa and cover. I kept getting e3. The spa pump was reading the outside temp and thought it was the water under 40°. I got my wife's blow dryer out and blew it into the upper little hose on the power pack. The temp on the pump started going up and once it read 55° I stopped and returned to pumping up the spa and lid with no problem. I used a garden hose hooked outside to fill. I did dump about 15 gallons of hot water to try and raise the temp a little because the pump will not work if it reads the water temp of 40° or lower. Once the water level got above all the inlets and outlets I started the heating process. As soon as I turned it on it read 42. (Boy I was close. Lol). This tub can be run at outside temp below 40° if you put it up like I did and also make sure when ur not using it you always leave the heater on. This is my second porable spa. My first was spa n a box. I'd recommend that too but is almost double the price. It lasted me 5 years. I am thinking I'm going to like this coleman lay z spa much better and parts are easy to find online. Im pumped to get in soon and remember this is not a real (expensive hot tub) you get what you buy. You take care of this everyday or every other day and it will last. The outer skin is very strong. Don't worry about it being inflatable. If anyone needs advice email me at tpmcgee81@gmail.com. I know what's it's like to put such a large amount of money into something like this and have a ton of questions. I know it's only 399.00. But to me that alot. :-). Good luck! And definitely 5 stars so far!!! I will do another review in a few months to let who ever know what I still think. God bless.
