Safe and effective for your fur babies!!
I have a very barkey boxer named Chip. He also suffers from seizures. The vet said over excitement can bring the seizures on. He gets so wound up when the neighbor kids are out in their front yard, another dog walks by, and at the mailman (really?? You’ve known him your whole life!!) His black lab brother from another mother (don’t tell them, they don’t know!!) BENTLEY only barks after Chip get going, so if I can stop Chip from barking, I can stop Bentley from barking, smart right?!?!? I was NOT going to shock my baby, so I found this collar. It’s perfect for Chip. It lets him bark 2 or 3 times (I mean, I still want him to bark if someone is breaking into the house) and then it emits a beep beep beep, and a vibration on his throat. Now when he starts to bark and it beeps, he stops, and starts looking around for the noise. He also likes to play soccer with his basket ball, and most of the time it’s just him pawing and growling at the ball, and it’ll let him growl for maybe 5 seconds and it’ll beep. As for size, Chip is 75lbs and because he is a boxer, he has a relatively thick neck. I have it all the way out and it just fits him. I wouldn’t recommend this for very large necked dogs. The beep box is pretty large too. It’s 2.5”x1.5”x1.5”deep. It fits his neck just fine. But I wouldn’t recommend for small dogs either. It would be in the way when they were laying down. I like the product, our house has calmed down over the last week, Chip still fires off a couple barks every now and then, but then it beeps and he stops. I don’t think Bentley has barked at all. So far, so good!!
